Hello Team
We are planing a small trek to Naneghat, i had gone through the info provided on this site. It seems a easy trek, but i would like if any of your team members can highlight on any specific spots where it can be risky.
Looking forward for positive reply

Just to add on to my previous comments, people planning to trek towards peth fort, please do not carry eatables... there is a small hotel at the base of the for (i.e. peth village) where u can get good food to eat ... probably maharastrian style only.

Your treks are costly as compared to YHAI and other Trek Clubs. I want to trek with TrekshitiZ but the cost is too high.
For eg.: Karoli Ghat Trek was @ 9oo Rs for 2 days, Ratangad was 800 Rs for 2 days with YHAI. Same costed 1600 Rs for 2 days with TrekshitiZ.
Kindly elaborate if possible.

Reply from TreKshitiZ Team.

Dear Rupesh..
Sincere thanks for bringing up your concern. It helps us to understand the fellow trekkers concerns or comments about TreKshitiZ’s events.

Coming back to your post, we at TreKshitiZ, pay utmost importance at the trek fees along with the quality of the trek. Some times the cost shoots up compared to the previous treks of TreKshitiZ because of the following factors

1. Private transport instead of Public transport. This is one of the major reason for some times higher prices of treks. Recently, many a times private transport is preferred by the organizing team as it gives good flexibility and allows the trekkers to enjoy most of their time in the mountains / at event site.

2. For events involving rappelling or climbing the fees paid for bringing in experts (for safety reasons) also increases the prices substantially.

Profit has never been a motive of organizing the events in TreKshitiZ. If one can do similar comparison of the cost of trek for other events or treks across some other renowned organizations the trek fee is always reasonable and justified.
Hope so this helps you get broader picture of our thought about your concern.

Incase this does not help, please feel free to call Amit Samant or myself.

Very nice collection. Congrates. I had been to many of these forts. When I was there I was astonished to see the ruins of such pios place. I am searching for the rare photo of Raigad before its ruin. The photo of all mahals, towers & main gate which was set to fire by British somewhere in 1893 to override the activities by local freedom fighters. If found pls let me know.
