Rajgad - Torna Trek Plan

Dear Trek Participants,

Rajgad Fort is one of the most grand forts of the Sahaydris. It was ShivajiMaharaj's capital for 25 years.
Rajgad and Torna fort are must visit in any ones trekking/adventure list. Iassure you this will be one of your most memorable trek of all time...

Where and when to meet : Thursday 7th Feb 10.30 pm @ Godrej Showroom,Char Rasta, Dombivli East

Things to carry

1. Ruck Sack
2. Water Bottle ( minimum 1.5 litter )
3. Cap
4. Extra Clothes ( 1 + 2 extra pair )
5. Good sports shoes
6. Torch ( with new cell as there is no electricity on Rajgad and Torna )
7. Candles with match box
8. Toothbrush and toothpaste
9. Seeping bag or mat or bedding material
10. Cup, Plate and spoon
11. Towel
12. Extra pair of socks
13. Goggle
14. Personal medicines if any
15. Dry stuff like biscuits, pharsan, chakali etc
16. Camera

Things NOT TO CARRY :-

1. DON'T carry valuables
2. DON'T carry LUNCH for 8th feb afternoon. Arrangement is already made onRajgad.

Tentative Itinerary :-

Thursay 7th Feb 10.30 pm @ Godrej Showroom, Dombivli East - Meeting Place -Through private bus way to Gunjavane Gao, base village of Rajgad via Pune - Friday8th Feb  early in the morning reach gunjawne ( Pune - Gunjawne approx 2hours ) - Have TEA @ Shri Rasal's Home - Start our Trek to Rajgad early in themorning - Reach top of Rajgad ( approx it takes 2 hours to reach on the top ) -break fast and Tea - Way to BALE KILLA - after returning have Lunch - Lateafternoon way to SANJIVALI MACHI
- after returning have dinner - stay @ Padmawati Temple - Saturday 9th Febearly in the morning after Tea way to TORNA FORT via Alu Darwaja - RAJGAD -TORNA : 13 km - on the way Have lunch in one house – Even. reach top of TORNAFORT - few fort exploration if time available - stay @ Mengai Temple. - Here weare going to prepare our dinner - after Dinner will share some adventurousstories. Sunday 10th Feb morn TORNA fort exploration - in the afternoon willstart our returning journey - way to Velhe village - Have Lunch in TORNA VIHARhotel. - way to Dombivli - around 9 pm reach DOMBIVLI
