During trek to
Mahimatgad near Sangmeshwar, we encounter with this Plant .It cause swelling
& etching for more than 1 hr. The Details of the plant to alert other trekers. ![]() The plant is Girardinia zeylanica It
is a plant from family Urticaceae
In most of the cases of such itching your own saliva
is a good medicine, secondly if the plant known as "Takla"
{(Cassia tora) which is used as leafy vegetable} is available near by, then
crush some leaves of it on the itching part.
