How to Reach

Reach Pardi station on the Vapi – Surat railway line in a passenger train. The fort is 3 kms from the railway station and its base can be accessed with an autorickshaw. By road, Pardi is 18 kms from Vapi on the Mumbai – Ahmedabad highway.

Points of Interest

Over the period of time there have been many changes in the fort. As we enter the fort, we can see an Octagonal bastion to the left and the fort entrance has been newly built. The stairs here take us to a shrine and further it leads to barracks which were built for prisoners. During the British era this fort was used as a Prison. There are ruins of some structures to the right. As we move ahead, we come across water tanks which supply water to the village. This is the top most part of the fort and the entire fort can be visited in 15 minutes.
