Rajapur is well connected by road and railway. One road from Jawahar Chowk in Rajapur takes us to Dhootpapeshwar temple. On this route first we come across an old bridge built on the Arjuna river dating back to Shivaji era. After we cross the bridge the road runs parallel to the river and has an ascend. The remnants of the warehouse can be found here.

In this area we come across the ruins of some structures built in stone and a one storeyed building to the left. A path between these structures leads to the river. Descending by this path and walking towards the right direction we can see the bastion. Coming back to the warehouse and continuing walking in the right direction we come across a well and another bastion of the warehouse. As the current premises of the warehouse is occupied by the Police residences, a considerable part of the warehouse now stands in ruins.
The nearby ancient Dhootpapeshwar temple can also be visited during the day.
