Introduction
Neelkantheshwar Mandir is an ancient Hemadpanthi-style temple located in the heart of Nilanga town, about 63 km from Latur on the Latur–Udgir road.

The temple is known for its sculptural beauty, especially the Surasundari figures carved on the outer walls.
History
The temple belongs to the Hemadpanthi period. Over time, the roof has collapsed and the stone structure has been painted with grey oil paint, covering the natural black stone.
Architecture
The roofless temple features finely carved Surasundari sculptures on the exterior walls, though the original stone appearance has been altered due to modern paint.
How to Reach
Nilanga is well connected by road. Direct buses are available from Latur and Udgir. The temple is located within the town area.
